Holly

Holly has been one of the Friendly Creatures Team trainers for over seven years. She worked at Battersea Dogs Home for 8 years as a dog socialiser and walker, where she gained experience with a wide variety of dogs often experiencing stressful situations, and received up to date training in modern science based dog training and behaviour.

She has trained with Grisha Stewart, Sarah Fisher, Ian Dunbar, Chirag Patel, Kim Brophy and Pat Tagg and studied at IMDT and is a member of Dog Training College and Animal Training Academy where she has access to the most up to date modern training information and CPD. She has a particular interest in Animal ethology and behaviour and the benefits of incorporating activities such as Scent-work into our dogs lives and reguarly attends scent-based workshops.

Alongside dog training Holly is also trained in Animal Assisted Therapy with children and young people who may have a variety of complex needs. In this field she works alongside one of her dogs, Parker the poodle. Holly is also trained in Equine Assisted Therapy. She has a multi-pet household and is guardian to two dogs, one cat at this time. Holly is also a qualified Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner.
